Eligibility & Criteria
Students who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply for the SCHEC Bruce Vancil Scholarship:
- Currently enrolled in a SCHEC member community college and will be transferring to a SCHEC four-year university during the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Please see SCHEC Member Schools before submitting your SCHEC Scholarship application.
- Academic qualifications (e.g., 3.0 minimum GPA and academic preparation).
- Personal background and career/educational goals.
- Challenges overcome, extracurricular/leadership involvement, and other strengths.
- Clarity of the Personal Statement Essay.
- Potential for future success (based on the reference form).
